My Style | 2017

People who know something about fashion and know me would say I wear many different styles. When I worked in a clothing store a manager told me that it was always a good surprise to see what different outfits I wore on my workdays. Because sometimes it’s just so different. I love grunge, 90’s, vintage, but also modern, girly, classy, … I try to combine everything into one style, my style.

I made my favourite outfits in every different style I often wear.

Here are my favourite styles in a random order:

Classy

Classy

[As you can see I love navy blue, haha. I didnt even notice when I made these outfits.]

  1. I call this outfit ‘Casual Classy’. Because, you know, I would wear it for casual occasions and I would still look classy. It’s a jumpsuit (a layered jumpsuit). I added a navy coloured hat, because I am obsessed with hats for some reason. I think it gives you personality, in a way. I also added these cool vintage glasses, because… I don’t know, they just look cool 😜. For the rest I added a coat, gloves, heels, a bag and a watch.

  1. The second outfit is obviously for formal events or for work (it depends on what you do of course, I wouldn’t wear this if you work in the health care sector). It’s really simple, a bodycon dress (I looooooove bodycon dresses!!! Fun fact alert!), a dark brown leather bag, with some ‘risky’ blue heels, a watch, and to make the outfit complete I would wear, if I had long hair, a long sleek ponytail.

If I had to choose between these two outfits I would go for outfit one!

Vintage

Vintage

  1. I adore this outfit. This is so cute, and if this isn’t vintage then I don’t know what is. The sunglasses and the shoes, and definitely the bag look really vintage and cool. I don’t know why but I imagined myself wearing this in the old trains, travelling.

  1. This is really simple, I know. But it’s casual, vintage and ‘grungy’. The bag and the shoes are my absolute favourite items of the whole outfit. And the hat… of course the hat. Haha. I’d see myself wearing this on a roadtrip with my friends.

Girly

Girly

  1. When you think ‘girly’ you think ‘pink’, am I right? I don’t wear pink that often, but I love this outfit. I love everything about it, the bow, crop top, skirt, bag, shoes, and especially the ‘kimono’.

Buy the items:

  1. But being girly doesn’t necessary mean you need to wear pink. A girly style is just ‘the cute style’. But I couldn’t say no to some pink in this outfit. My favourite item are the shorts, probably because they are in my favourite colour 😉.

Modern

Modern

  1. With ‘the modern style’ I mean what people my age wear nowadays. The first outfit is cool, I love how the shoes and the top match. Also, the bag is gorgeous. Swap the shoes with flats and I would wear it to festivals.

Buy the items:

  1. A leather crop top and a brown faux suede skirt with a messy bun and some sock-shoes? It screams 2017. Let’s not forget the hipster glasses! And the bag is a nice touch to complete the outfit.

Grunge

Grunge

  1. I’m not a big fan of ripped jeans but I actually kinda liked these. I added a plaid shirt, a hat, and a really cool, vintage bag. I’d wear this to school (not work, because of the rips).

Buy the items:

  1. Nirvana was and still is the band a lot of ‘grunge people’ listen to, that’s why I added a Nirvana crop top. I’d wear the plaid shirt around my waist or if it’s a little cold outside I’d wear it like that. With the leather boots it makes a complete festival outfit or concert outfit.

Grunge x

  1. This outfit makes me think of Wednesday from the Addams Family, because of the dress and the braids. I guess Wednesday was a ‘grunge chick’, haha. What I like the most about this outfit are the shoes.

Buy the items:

  1. I don’t get why people link other people who wear fishnet stockings to ‘sluts’. I don’t get why people think they even need to say that. Nobody cares, time to wake up, guys. I like this outfit, it’s perfect for parties, festivals, concerts, … And again, the shoes are my favourite item, along with the sunglasses.

My favourite style out of all these I like to wear would definitely be modern and grunge. Maybe I’ll show you guys my own outfits someday.

What is your favourite style? Any other styles than these?
